Finished his middle school in America, he arrives in Japan and enrolled at Seiren High. Signed as a new member at the School basketball club and told Hyuga and Aida that basketball are all the same everywhere in Japan. After hearing the story about the generation of miracles, he vows to crushed them one by one. He further asked Kuroko how good these generation of miracles was, to where Kuroko answered you didn't even reach at their feet. Later then, Kuroko promised him that he will be his shadow and make him the best player in Japan. Together they will beat Kuroko's former teammates one by one and be the best in Japan.
