Brave 10 Character:  Ana / Anastasia of the Glacier


Who is Ana?


Ana or Anastasia of the Glacier was introduced as Saizou's childhood friend. Together with Sasuke they  serve Sanada and are brave soldiers who lead his ninja. Though thru her dialogue we are lead to keep guessing what really her real intentions of joining Sanada's Brave 10, it makes me wonder, is there really a meaning beyond that words or was it they had a dark past which might be connected with Saizou?


As Epsiode 9, she attacked Rokorou and said she has a liking for his eye, for all the information hidden in it, thus it makes Rokorou of faith choose to destroy rather than giving it to here. On episode 10 she was then revealed that she works under Iga's League of Five, from Hanzou 's leadership.

I can't imagine what would happen between Nezu and Ana, since Ana is the real picture of his dream woman. It would be an additional annoyance for Ana since Sanada is the first then Nezu would be the second.. Tsk. Well, lets wait for the new episodes. Ja!

My Ten cents:

I'm skeptical about the story itself, so am giving this and OKAY grade. Kinda shallow story line, it would be nice if the story be put into a wider perspective of life and dig much deeper into more interesting events/trials that came across the life of the characters. 

The Princes of Song:

 

Ren Jinguuji - The flirtatious one. Masato's roommate and rival. He often calls Nanami ''little lamb". 

 

Natsuki Shinomiya - Crazy about kawaii things and a genius. He call's Nanami, elizabeth he's dead dog. 

 

Tokiya Ichinose/ Hayato - Hiding as hayato's identical twin brother. Otoya's aloof roomate. He fall's inlove with Nanami later on.. :0 

 

Masato Hijirikawa - Even though he is often cold with somebody he always shows he soft side with Nanami. A clan rival if Ren. 

 

Otoya Ittoki - Nanami's savior no.1 and Tokiya's roommate. He is friendly and is the first one show's his love for Nanami. 

 

Syo Kurusu - Natsuki's roommate and childhood friend. Energetic and cute (chibi). He has a fear of height. 

This anime has an awesome graphics anyway so I have to give them credits for that.  Jah!

Brave 10 - Sanada Yukimura 
 Great lord of Ueda. On protecting Isanami he said "I need 10 great heroes that will fill the fingers of my hands".  

His 10 Brave Soldiers 

Brave 10 - Sarutobi Sasuke
 Great leader of Sanada's ninja. He called Ueda jungle as his playground, making the grass swings and the trees bends. He has a soft heart for animals. 

Brave 10 - Kirigakure Saizou
 A wanderer and a master-less ninja before he met Isanami. Though he openly disregard Sanada as his Lord, he faithfully follows his order to protect Isanami.  

Brave 10: Isanami - Priestess of Izumo. 

Believed to be the one protecting Kushimi-tama. It was then revealed on episode 9 the true nature of Isanami. Named as the Goddess of Murder and Slaughter as Sanada narrated, contrary to what others believed in, Isanami is not protecting Kushimi-tama, Kushimi-tama is protecting the world against Isanami.  

 

Brave 10 - Unno Rokurou

Sanada's protector, he stays with him all the time. He is the keeper of all Secret/confidential information Sanada acquired. On episode 9 he was attacked by Ana, as she told him she has long been liking his eyes, to which he rather choose to destroy than giving it her. As he begs to Sanada for forgiveness, he cries out in despair for not protecting it. 

Brave 10 - Kakei Juzou 
 I thought of him as a Samurai, but then, a gun loving samurai? 

Brave 10 - Ana or Anastasia of the Glacier 
 Saizou's childhood friend. On episode 9, she attacked Rokurou, and was uncovered that she is a spy. For whom she works for, it was Sanada'a mandate to Sasuke, investigate who she works for. On episode 10, it was revealed that she works for Iga's League of Five under the leadership of Hanzou. 

Brave 10 - Yuri Kamanosuke
Introduced on episode 3, as the one who ambushed Isanami, Saizou and Kakei on their way to Izumo. sHe posses a great control of wind. Always been questioned by Saizou about his/her true gender. On episode 6, sHe was hit by mr. cupid and now member of the "I love you Saizou Clan". Hahah 

 

Brave 10 - Miyoshi Seikai 

Claimed to be Isanami's step brother not by blood but both adapted by Izumo's high priest! 

 

Brave 10 - Benmaru | Mochizuki Rokuro

According to him his last name was all made up. Asked by saizou to go home to his parents "he said he don't have one and is living alone". Sanada then change his name to "Benmaru" to avoid confusion with Rokuro (Sanada's valued guard) to which Rokuro strongly opposed since it was Sanada's other name. 

 

Brave 10 - Nezu Jinpachi 

A Pirate and the final member of Sanada's Brave 10. A friend of Kakei and feverishly calling Yuri a girl and would be perfect pirate. He then openly told Sanada that his hobby is Sake and women. 

So here's our final list, therefore we will be cruising for some heartwarming episodes.

Brave 10: Sarutobi Sasuke

Sarutobi Sasuke

Often called by Sanada as shy guy, he is tough and intelligent. Great guardian of Sanada's jungle, to which he called it his playing ground. On episode 2, Sasuke, enlighted Saizou on how to protect someone. On episode 9 he was attacked by Ana, after he save Rokurou. Pained by failing to protect Rokurou and Sanada in general, he apologized to Sanada and said he failed as a ninja.

Sarutobi Sasuke -holding the elements grass, as pointed out by  Sanada. The grass and the trees will bend out for Sasuke.

Brave 10: Saizou Kirigakure

Kirigakure Saizou

A ninja in search for a master, he is sarcastic and aloof.  On episode 1, he meets Isanami and despised her for being a nuisance. He then rebelliously disregard Sanada as a master but then followed his instruction to help Isanami. As he realizes the value of protecting someone, and accepted his path as part of Sanada's brave he was introduced to a more heavy responsibility . The responsibility of not only protecting Isanami, not just a ray of light for Isanami but protecting the world against Isanami.

As the Yin-Yang sign drawn by Sanada, it clearly explained that Saizou will be the light that will guide Isanami,

Saizou Kirigakure - On episode 1, sensing the enemy is coming.
